We are currently hiring for a a
Full- time Case Manager and
Part-time Residential Support Specialist evenings and weekends
to provide direct support and care in our residential setting
The Residential Support Specialist (RSS) reports to the House Program Director and works hands-on with residents and their babies to support their well-being. This role is responsible for assisting with all aspects of residential operations and providing direct support in the delivery of programs and services, in alignment with Mary’s Place mission, policies, and procedures. Since Mary’s Place operates 24/7, this position requires flexible shift work.

Child.
Essential Duties
Responsibilities include:
• Perform traditional customer service duties: answer phones, meet and greet donors and volunteers.
• Maintaining cleanliness/welcoming appearance of the building.
• Complete incident reports, immediately following any significant incident.
• Assists with drug screening and overseeing client self-administration of medication.
• Administer CPR/AED/Narcan when appropriate.
• Receive/document donations.
• Ensuring residents are completing daily responsibilities and tasks.
• Assisting the residents in the days and/or evenings to ensure established routines are being followed,including awareness of overall health and well-being of the residents.
• Maintaining a healthy, clean, and safe environment. Responds quickly and calmly in the event of an emergency or life-threatening situation.
• Helping with integrating new residents into Mary’s Place
• Ensuring all policies and procedures are being followed.
• Defusing confrontation with residents, using appropriate verbal behavioral and de-escalation techniques.
• Answering house and/or cell phone, checking messages
• Assisting with the implementation of special events
• Receiving tracking donations
• Other duties as assigned at the direction of management.

Education/Experience
-High School degree or equivalent plus
- One year experience with serving an underserved population.
-One Year experience with drug and alcohol, mental health, at risk women, and/or those experiencing housing insecurity.
-Certified Recovery Support (CRS) or Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist are encourage to apply.
Minimum Job and Physical Requirements
• Eligible to work in the US
• Current/valid PA driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience with a safe driving record.
• Ability to remain on feet 60% of the time during the day with the ability to navigate multiple floors via stairs.
• Ability to work outdoors during the Spring/Summer months assisting with lite yard work when necessary
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, receive shipments, break down shipment boxes, take out
trash/recyclables, laundry and shoveling snow.
Ability to cover all shifts when needed, including overnight shifts and holidays.

Full Time Case Manager
The Case Manager reports to the Executive Director and is accountable for all case related aspects of a resident’s journey towards stability and independence. The Case Manager works with residents on their personal growth goals, tracks their progress, and connects them with internal and external resources. This role ensures a safe, structured, and nurturing home environment for residents and their infants, in alignment with the faith based, pro-life mission of Mary’s Place. The Case Manager works closely with the Executive Director to provide comprehensive support to residents, ensuring their spiritual, physical, emotional, and social needs are met while advancing the mission and values of Mary’s Place. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Case Management & Resident Support: Conducts weekly one-on-one meetings with residents to set and review short-term and long-term goals. These sessions are a form of informal counseling to help residents work through self management issues, personal care, and relationship patterns. Support residents in making life-affirming decisions for themselves and their children. Develops a plan with each resident for pregnancy through the postpartum period, which includes amended expectations for chores and daily schedules for up to six weeks after birth. Works with residents to connect with and enroll in assistance programs such as WIC, SNAP, and Medicaid. Assists residents in arranging tutoring, G.E.D. programs, and vocational training Coaches residents on how to dress and conduct themselves in job interviews. Assists with creation and approval of weekly schedules and manages budgets. Helps to develop a plan for residents who are ready to transition out of Mary’s Place, ensuring a "soft landing" with appropriate referrals and an offer of continued support. Administrative & Operational Duties: Participates in the observation of medication administration, when necessary. Maintains resident information files, keeping them organized and secure to ensure confidentiality. Tracks residents' progress in parenting, educational and employment programs. Provide guidance and encouragement consistent with the pro-life mission of Mary’s Place. Notifies house staff of residents' appointments, interviews, and special visits. Verifies a resident's destinations before approving and makes follow-up calls to ensure client and program safety. Notifies the Executive Director and other relevant staff of any rule violations or incidents, and completes the necessary documentation, such as incident reports, within 24 hours. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or a related field is preferred. Masters preferred Minimum of two years of experience in the human services field, preferably working with at-risk women and their babies. Strong crisis intervention skills. Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills with a demonstrated understanding of and sensitivity to diverse populations. Strong computer and office skills. Minimum Job and Physical Requirements Eligible to work in the US. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of all resident information. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends when needed.
